We are heading to snow country.
We pick up a load at 1800 tonight bound for Seattle, leaving torrential rains in Ohio. The weathercams tell the story. Washington State is a white out. Snow, snow, more snow and snow. The chain law is in effect as of this writing. Big trucks wanting to cross Snoqualmie Pass must throw chains.
Hopefully the storm will swing north in the next 24 hours and leave plowed roads and clear skies behind. Keep an eye on the radar.
Our route: West on I-70 from Columbus, around Indianapolis, West on I-74 to Davenport, Iowa, West on I-80 to Council Bluffs, Iowa, at Omaha, Nebraska North on I-29 to South Dakota. West on I-90 all the way to Seattle.
ETA: December 2, 22:00 Eastern Time.
We’ll keep you posted.
