Snow, But No Irons

Butte, Montana

We just completed a slow descent down the intestinal-tract looking, Pipestone grade, 6,393 foot level, the Contiinental Divide to Butte. Heavy snow, but no chain requirements.

We were late departing with the load because we did a favor for dispatch, an 897 mile round trip Columbus, Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus hitting ice and snow around Indianapolis.

Weather radar shows the worst of the snow is over. Sun will be up soon. We expect to be in Seattle late tonight.

We have managed to stop and pick up our Montana delicacy at the Town Pump – egg salad sandwiches on whole wheat!
